Lead Field Service Technician — Industrial Laundry Systems | UK Field-Based
You’re already good at the technical side. Fault-finding, diagnostics, getting machines back up and running — that’s the easy bit for you.
This role is for someone who’s ready to do more than that.
The company manufactures and services heavy-duty industrial laundry systems — think hospital laundries, hotel operations, textile rental facilities. They build everything from single machines to complete turnkey installations, then look after them long-term. The kit is complex. The customers are demanding. The work is varied.
As Lead Field Service Technician, you’ll stay hands-on — installations, commissioning, breakdowns, planned maintenance — but you’ll also be the technical escalation point for the team, support job planning, and help bring newer technicians up to speed.
You won’t be pushed into a desk. This is a genuine lead role that keeps you in the field.
What matters:
- Strong track record in field service — installation, commissioning, breakdown response, PPM
- Proven fault-finding ability on industrial machinery
- Comfortable being the person others come to when it gets complicated
